Photoshop / InDesign / Paint
Smash is a personal project in which I documented the first 45 beers I drank after turning 21.
I photographed each of the beer bottles and used photoshop to isolate the color schemes of each label design. I then translated these color palettes into full page spreads, with each stripe representing the amount of each particular color in the label. I used these to create a menu-type flip book. Ten copies of the book (4x6') were printed on glossy paper and perfect-bound.

After the project was finished, I filled each beer bottle up with the paint version of their color palettes and SMASHED them to create full scale paintings.
